A well-established Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center located in the Germantown section of Philadelphia is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our clinical leadership team.

The RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit, ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, and effective communication with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff on the assigned unit

• Ensure high-quality resident care and positive clinical outcomes

• Coordinate and oversee resident admissions, transfers, and discharges

• Monitor physician orders, medication administration, and care plans

• Conduct clinical rounds and address resident concerns promptly

• Assist with regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and infection prevention initiatives

• Mentor, coach, and educate nursing staff

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social services, and other departments

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Participate in surveys, audits, and performance improvement activities

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities

• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing skilled nursing facilities

• Experience with PointClickCare is a plus
