Your Role: Food/Kitchen Expeditor:

As the Expeditor (Expo), you’re the bridge between our kitchen and dining room — ensuring every plate looks perfect, every order is complete, and every guest’s meal reaches the table hot and on time.

You’ll be coordinating the flow of tickets, checking quality and presentation, communicating with servers and cooks, and keeping the kitchen line running like a well-oiled machine. You are the final checkpoint before our food hits the floor — and your eye for detail is what sets Ryan’s apart.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the flow of orders between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Check each plate for quality, accuracy, and presentation before it leaves the line.
• Communicate effectively with chefs, cooks, and servers to ensure smooth service.
• Keep the expo line clean, organized, and running efficiently.
• Assist with plating and garnishing dishes during peak hours.
• Support the kitchen team as needed (light prep, restocking, etc.).
• Maintain composure and positivity in a fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive, upbeat attitude and strong sense of teamwork.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and stay organized during high volume.
• Professional, reliable, and punctual work habits.
• Prior kitchen or expediting experience preferred (but not required — we’ll train the right person).
• Must have reliable transportation and be available evenings and weekends.
• ServSafe certification a plus.
