The Medical Claims Representative will be an integral part of the claims processing team, handling medical insurance claims with accuracy and efficiency. This role involves direct customer support via phone and email, working across multiple diverse healthcare systems and insurance providers to ensure smooth claims adjudication and resolution. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to manage and resolve claims effectively without travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Process medical insurance claims accurately and efficiently
- Provide customer support through phone and email communication
- Adjudicate claims following established guidelines and policies
- Collaborate with the claims processing team to resolve disputes and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for each claim
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in medical claims processing
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with claims management systems
- Proficiency in data entry
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer service skills
