We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Middle School/High School Social Studies Teacher to inspire and educate students in grades 6 through 12.

Middle School/High School Social Studies Teacher Job Description: The social studies teacher develops and delivers engaging curriculum on history, civics, and communication skills, preparing students for informed citizenship and effective communication. Develop and execute lesson plans covering social studies (history, geography, civics, economics) and communication skills. Establish a positive and safe learning environment conducive to discussion and debate. Monitor student progress through tests, projects, and oral presentations to provide feedback. Foster critical thinking, research skills, and public speaking abilities. Work with colleagues for interdisciplinary projects and communicate with parents regarding student progress. Supervise activities such as field trips, debate clubs, or student government. The candidate should be passionate, consistent with classroom expectations, provide a motivating and stimulating learning environment for all students, and be a steward in the Catholic faith. We are looking for an individual who fosters collaboration and continuously grows and reflects on their profession and instructional practices. AP course instruction and Classical Education experience a plus.
