Mariana Bracetti Academy Charter School (MBACS) is a K-12 public charter school located at 1840 Torresdale Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19124.

MBACS is seeing a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our school's team as the Director of Facilities. As the Facility and Maintenance Director , you will be responsible in overseeing all aspects of facility and maintenance management, ensuring the smooth operation maintenance and improvement of our school's physical infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• College or trade school degree in related field required (construction management)
• 5 plus years experience with facility management, facility maintenance, or construction
• Strong knowledge of building systems and safety regulations
• Commitment to the institution's needs and readiness to respond 24/7/365 as reasonable and necessary
• Frequently lift equipment and materials weighing 50 pounds or more
• Crawl, climb ladders, twist, turn and reach in completing a variety of job duties
• Work outside in hot or cold conditions for extended periods of time
• Work in wide variety of environments as found in all areas of the school
• Able to operate vehicles and machines
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in facility management software

• Facility Planning and Management
• Day to day facility and maintenance operations
• Lead a 6-8 member facility and maintenance team
• Manage external contractors and vendors
• Budgeting and Resource Management
• Health and Safety Compliance
• Team Leadership
• Project Management
• Inventory Management
• Other duties as assigned by Mariana Bracetti Academy Charter School management
