Drupal/Full Staff Web Developer

Note: All facilities are cigar-friendly environments. Employees may smoke cigars at their desks and during meetings. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring onsite work at our office in Northeast Philadelphia 2 out of 5 days per week, following a successful onboarding period of 4-5 weeks.

Holt’s Cigar Company is seeking a Web Developer for our growing ecommerce division. We are a leading retailer of premium cigars with an extensive online presence. Our Web Development Team builds and manages desktop mobile versions of our ecommerce site , in addition to our company’s brand site for Ashton Distributors, , and the Ashton Cigar Bar site, . We develop and maintain an ongoing agenda of site modifications and enhancements across all three channels. Our evolving digital goals require an efficient and focused team of Web Developers who are comfortable communicating with our Design, Web Administration, and Customer Service Departments. An individual with proven technical proficiency and initiative can expect success in the role of Web Developer. Essential Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain Drupal-based websites with a focus on usability, responsiveness, accessibility, and performance

· Build and customize Drupal modules, themes, and templates following Drupal coding standards and modern development practices

· Work collaboratively with Content Creators, Designers, and IT teams to improve workflows and enhance content delivery

· Assist with development, implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of current and future Adobe Commerce/Magento application (includes desktop and mobile sites) and other websites 

· Interface with Senior Web Developers for site modifications and new features

· Assist in performing root-cause analysis of any application issues and develop remediation plans

· Proactively offer solutions to complex technical problems

Key Projects:

· Migration of our current Drupal sites to version 11

Continual development, expansion, and maintenance of the future website built on the Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Enterprise eCommerce) 2.x platform for Holt’s Cigar ()

Requirements

Qualifications:

· At least 3-4 years’ experience with Drupal

· Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL

· Proven ability to work with other team members across departments and levels of authority

· Motivated self-starter who can work independently

· Available to work in office 2 out of 5 days per week following a successful onsite training/onboarding period (new employees average 4-5 weeks of onsite training/onboarding)

· Experience with project management software, such as Jira

Additional/Desired Skills (not required):

· Experience with Drupal 10 and above

· Java

· Magento

· MS SQL Server

· ERP Experience

Work Environment:

· Office environment

· Hybrid work schedule, requiring 2 office days out of 5 days per week
