Salary: $22-$30

Halter Landscaping Inc. is seeking a hardworking and motivated Hardscape Laborer to assist in the construction of high-quality outdoor living spaces. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are eager to learn and grow in the hardscape and landscaping industry.

The Hardscape Laborer will support crew leaders and foremen in all aspects of hardscape and masonry projects, helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

Reports To:

Hardscape Foreman, and Operations Management

Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation of:

• Paver patios and walkways
• Retaining walls (stone and block)
• Outdoor kitchens and masonry features
• Perform general labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and grading
• Load, unload, and transport materials using manual labor and equipment
• Prepare job sites, including excavation and base preparation
• Assist with layout using string lines and basic measurement tools
• Operate tools and equipment such as plate compactors, saws, and demolition tools
• Support equipment operators as needed (skid loaders, mini excavators, etc.)
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized
• Follow direction from Foreman and management
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards at all times

Requirements:

• Previous construction, landscaping, or hardscaping experience preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn hardscape installation techniques
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
• Ability to work well on a team
• Valid drivers license
