What the role looks like:
Provide person-centered support in the home and community
Encourage participation in preferred activities but also introduce new activities building off of these preferred ones (sports, dance, baking, crafts, games)
Support emotional regulation and coping with anxiety
Promote independence, confidence, and social connection
Help maintain routines and meaningful engagement.
Ideal candidate:
Patient, kind, and enthusiastic
High energy and enjoys being active struggles with meaningful conversation at times due to anxiety
Comfortable dancing, and being active but mostly in home environment and dance studio where she has danced for years.
Experience supporting individuals with anxiety (preferred)
Prior behavior support experience is a plus
Reliable, communicative, and team-oriented
