Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, Material Handling

Impact you’ll make

• Own preventative maintenance for heavy equipment to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Rapidly troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
• Safely diagnose and repair 120/208/240/480V electrical systems.
• Perform relay testing and machine safety inspections.
• Maintain, tune, and troubleshoot VFDs and Allen‑Bradley PLCs.
• Support conveyors and servo motor systems across the facility.
• Collaborate with peers to enhance reliability and performance.

What success looks like in 90 days

• PMs completed on schedule with quality documentation.
• Reduced repeat faults through root-cause fixes and follow-up actions.
• Improved line stability and safety verification across assigned areas.

Your background

• Demonstrated experience in heavy equipment repair and mechanical diagnostics.
• Strong grasp of industrial electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Hands-on with relay testing and safety verification.
• Experience with VFDs and PLCs (Allen‑Bradley).
• Knowledge of conveyor and servo systems.
• Detail-driven, safety-focused, and effective in fast-paced team settings.
• Available for weekend work and flexible hours as needed.
