Job Title: Inspector Packer

Location: (Montgomeryville, PA)

Duration: Contract - 12 months

Pay Range: $18.19/hr (W2)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• The safety and health of employees take precedence over all duties.
• Load, pack, inspect, and palletize brick and gel under direction from Line Leads.
• Read work orders to determine quantities needed for stock or open orders.
• Follow instructions to assess quality and arrange product onto pallets.
• Assemble, visually inspect for quality, pack, seal, label, and stack finished parts.
• Use gauges, scales, and measuring equipment to verify specifications.
• Complete and maintain production and quality records.
• Perform routine minimal maintenance and report mechanical, electrical, or other issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Perform all duties to the highest level of quality and safety and participate in safety initiatives.
• Follow good manufacturing practices and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to read and follow work orders and written instructions.
• Proficiency using gauges, scales, and basic measuring tools.
• Attention to detail for inspection, packing, labeling, and documentation.
• Ability to perform routine minimal maintenance and report issues promptly.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a high-volume production environment.
• Familiarity with good manufacturing practices and safety programs.

Physical Demands:

• Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds with a team lift occasionally.
• Frequent bending, standing, stooping, and grasping.
• Consistent manipulation of small parts.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Work Environment:

• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts in a production environment.
• Loud noise levels and temperature fluctuations based on seasons.
• Personal protective equipment is required in designated areas.
