Senior Associate Product Engineer

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Associate Product Engineer at its Exton, PA location.

DUTIES: Perform design and development activities for West/Daikyo Product Development (PD) initiatives and Life Cycle Management (LCM) initiatives. Apply expertise in design controls, product development ,test method development ,and Design Verification / Design Validation for new and existing products. Support and contribute to West/Daikyo programs and activities towards delivery of the set target for PD and/or LCM project assignments. Identify project requirements in support of new product and product line extension projects, as well as product optimization development projects. Develop, execute, and document project assignments in compliance with established governance policies and procedures and within committed timelines and project goals. Provide Technical Support for Daikyo product development initiatives with direct customer interactions as warranted by project assignments. Ensure technical and customer requirements for assigned projects are identified and satisfied and provide feedback to internal stakeholders and / or to Daikyo technical experts on customer-reported problems/issues. Ensure that all required documentation deliverables are satisfied and develop procedures for testing new and existing products as warranted. Comply to applicable international Quality Management System regulations such as ISO 13485 and 21 CFR parts 210, 211 and 820 to maintain quality standards for West containment and delivery products and services. May require travel/telecommuting.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field plus 5 years experience in the job offered, Senior Technical Lead, or related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Product Life Cycle Management or Sustainment Engineering, 2) Design control and product development process, 3) Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience, 4) Risk management, 5) Minitab; and 6) Design Verification / Design Validation testing.
