We’re looking for a full-time , compassionate, and motivated Veterinary Assistant who brings a growth mindset and a genuine love for feline medicine and their team. The ideal candidate enjoys learning, embraces new technology and medical advancements, and values sharing their knowledge with teammates and clients.

As part of the team at Cat Hospital of Media , you’ll play an essential role in creating a stress-free experience for our cats and their people. Your responsibilities will include:

• Bringing at least two years of veterinary experience (required)
• Practicing AAFP Cat Friendly and/or Fear Free handling techniques (required)
• Assisting with surgical preparation, anesthesia recovery, and instrument sterilization
• Confidently monitoring anesthesia and patient vitals
• Providing skilled restraint for venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and digital radiography
• Collecting, preparing, and processing laboratory samples
• Supporting a safe and compliant workplace by following DEA and OSHA protocols
• Comfortably navigating practice management software and Microsoft Office
• Communicating with clients in a clear, kind, and professional manner
• Staying organized, managing time, and maintaining strong attention to detail
• Meeting the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 30 pounds unassisted and standing or sitting for extended periods

We realize in order to maintain a healthy work/life balance time spent outside of work with family or friends is equally as important as providing gold standard care to our patients and clients. Our hours are Monday-Friday 8am – 6pm, and 8am – 11am on Saturday. We are closed evenings and Sundays to prevent long night / weekend shifts and burn out. In addition to a flexible schedule, we also offer:
