Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a healthcare organization seeking additional support within their medical records department. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate and organized patient documentation.

Job Description

The Medical Records Scanner will support the records management team by preparing, scanning, and organizing patient charts into an electronic system. This position requires precision, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently with both physical and digital records.

Key Responsibilities

• Retrieve physical medical charts and prepare documents for digital conversion
• Scan patient records and upload them into the electronic system accurately
• Index and organize scanned files to ensure easy retrieval and compliance
• Maintain confidentiality and follow established documentation procedures

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with medical records or healthcare documentation
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (Epic experience is a plus, not required)
• Previous hospital or clinical environment experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and time-management skills
