Our site at York provides advanced 3PL solutions to a premium Automotive brand and manages complex engineering services.

We are looking for an Material Tech for First Shift , based in York to manage inventory, inspects materials, and ensures efficient flow of parts and supplies to support manufacturing and logistics operations.

Work hours for this role are First shift hours- Monday-Thursday 6:30am to 5pm

About the Role

How you will contribute

• Monitors the unloading of all materials into the receiving department; Ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection; Ensures receiving reports accurately report material received. Oversees the movement of material from receiving to controlled storage in an efficient, effective, and safe manner.
• Monitors and measures team member performance for accuracy of locator, receiving reporting, movement and storage of material, and transfers.
• Provides appropriate equipment to ensure the safe transport and storage of all materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma. A college degree is preferred.
• Experience supervising in an automotive or logistics based industry.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
