EBP Audit Senior
Title: Employee Benefit Plan Audit Senior
Location: 100% Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: 85k to 115k base (DOE)
About the Role
Our client, a well-established public accounting firm, is seeking an Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) Audit Senior to join their team 100 percent remotely. This role offers year-round EBP audit work, strong work life balance, and long-term growth within a stable and supportive firm.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute audits of Employee Benefit Plans in accordance with GAAP, ERISA, and DOL requirements
- Manage audit engagements from planning through completion
- Review workpapers and ensure compliance with firm and regulatory standards
- Communicate with clients regarding audit status, issues, and findings
- Train and mentor junior audit staff
- Stay current on EBP regulatory updates
Required Qualifications
- 2 plus years of public accounting audit experience
- Experience with at least one of the following plan types:
- 401k
- 403b
- ESOP
- ERISA based plans
- Strong understanding of EBP audit procedures and compliance
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice to Have
- CPA or CPA eligible
- Experience with mid-sized or larger firms
