Machine Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in high-performance doors and panels, is seeking a Machine Operator/Cutter to join their team. As a Machine Operator/Cutter, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator/Cutter

Location: Burgettstown, PA

Pay Range:$17.50/hr

Shift: 3:30pm to 2am Monday thru Thursday (Friday is overtime.)

What's the Job?

• Set up, operate, and maintain production machinery for cutting, shaping, and fabricating materials such as steel and PVC
• Load raw materials, program CNC or manual cutting tools, and ensure precise operation according to specifications
• Inspect finished products for quality, identify defects, and make necessary adjustments to equipment
• Perform routine maintenance including cleaning and lubrication of machinery
• Handle materials safely, moving and lifting up to 50 lbs, while maintaining an organized workspace

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics, use hand tools, and perform basic math calculations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs
