Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As an Advanced Cloud DevOps and Platform Engineer, you will:
- Develop automation to create and maintain several PaaS deployments
- Automatically configure and deploy PaaS infrastructure consisting of identity and access management, network architecture, application security, logging, monitoring, deployment and more
- Work closely with our team to plan major updates and enhancements to our products
- Experience working with, or are familiar with the differences between, public (AWS, Azure), private (RHOSP, VIO), and mixed cloud environments
- Container technologies such as Docker, or Kubernetes
- Deployment of continuous integration and continuous deployment technologies such as GitLab, Jenkins, Puppet, or Chef
- Experience maintaining production-grade applications in virtualized environments (cloud computing platforms and services) using automation
- Creation of pipelines, Ansible Playbooks, and/or Terraform configurations to automate administrative actions from resource creation to service configuration
- Effective communication and attention to detail
- IT security practices including encryption, certificates, key management, patch management, STIG, RMF, or security hardening, and auditing
- Installation of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) technologies such as Amazon Web Services, OpenStack, RHOSP, or VIO
- Management of Cloud Resources in Amazon Web Services, and/or Azure
- Platform as a Service (PaaS) technologies such as Kubernetes, Rancher, or OpenShift
- Cloud automation tooling such as Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt, or Packer
- Open source server, messaging, load balancing, and database software (such as RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch)
- Scalable networking technologies such as Load Balancers (NGINX)/Firewalls and web standards (REST APIs, web security mechanisms)
- Strong understanding of software development process, as well as software engineering concepts, principles, and theories

This position allows for Flex work (Hybrid Remote/On-site). Please note that this this position is not 100% remote.

Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range USD $110,175.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
