Production Planner Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 /annually
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Review sales forecast data, customer supplied quotes and actuals sales orders to determine the most efficient operating schedule for the manufacturing process.
• Limit changeovers and create a cohesive plan that allows for the shortest amount of time to change over between runs.
• Monitor and Cycle count inventory of finishing purchased parts
• Supply Purchasing requests to Procurement for replacement/ inventory stock of finishing purchased parts
• Analyze forecasts and production plan to determine where course corrections may be necessary
• Other reporting and duties as assigned.

Production Planner Qualifications:

• Two-year degree in Supply Chain Management or business-related field required
• 3-5 years’ experience in a related field preferred
• Prior customer service or Planning experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel.
• Able to work in a changing environment; must be able to promote suggestions to assist in the creation of an efficient workflow.
• Entrepreneurial approach in managing personal responsibilities
• Attention to detail and owning the results
• Comfort with working with large data sets, looking for trends and outliers
• Demonstrated problem solving and forecasting
• Technical capacity to manage data and utilize information technology
• Written and oral communication proficiency
• Must follow the environmental program and all safety rules.
