We provide the resources, inspiration and focus and if you have the passion and courage to dream big, we want to build a better tomorrow with you.The Engineering Excellence - Workforce Evolution Team is seeking a Project Engineer to drive creative staffing strategies across the Engineering & Technology (E&T) organization, develop and implement technical solutions, and support strategic 1LMX initiatives. This is an internal client facing role with a breadth of exposure to all levels of leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to analyze and tell a story with large amounts of data, and identifies opportunities to build more efficient and automated to processes. In this role, you can expect to:- Join a team of dedicated staffing and workforce planning professionals, eager to train and mentor new team members
- Learn the ins and outs of E&T Staffing, Workforce Planning, Training, and Leadership Development
- Enhance and utilize your technical skills through the development and implementation of automated reporting capabilities and dashboards
- Deliver accurate and timely metrics to E&T leadership and key program stakeholders
- Grow your career, expand your network, and build a personal brand across E&T, Space, and other LM Business AreasThis is a fulltime telework position and travel is not required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in one of the following fields: Workforce Planning/Staffing, Talent Development/Training, Data Analytics, Project Engineering, Program Management, or Human Resources/Recruitment
- Demonstrated interest in the aerospace and defense industry
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyze and tell a story with large amounts of data
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- US citizenship
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of the Vemo Resource Management tool or other workforce planning platforms
- Tableau dashboard development
- Advanced Excel, VBA, MySQL, Python, or other data analysis tools or scripting languages
- Experience using SharePoint and PowerPlatform suite
- Web development tools (HTML, Java, CSS), VBA scripting, MySQL
- Prompt Engineering (AI Prompt)

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $98,300 - $170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidates final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidates final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
