Our platforms simplify sales and management workflows for advisors, making annuities more accessible and manageable. As we expand our platform to support new distribution firms, insurance carriers, and product offerings, we're also investing in automation to ensure quality and scalability across our ecosystem.

About the Role

As a Junior Automation Developer, you'll play a key role in building and maintaining automated test coverage for our platform. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to ensure our applications are reliable and deliver a seamless experience to our users. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while working with modern automation tools — including leveraging AI-powered tools to write smarter tests, identify coverage gaps, and work more efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and JavaScript
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate test development, improve coverage, and streamline day-to-day automation tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
• Execute and monitor automated test suites, analyze results, and report issues
• Contribute to the evolution of our automation framework and tooling
• Document test cases, results, and automation processes
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives
• Support continuous integration and deployment efforts through test automation

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in software development or test automation
• Familiarity with JavaScript
• Exposure to Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools
• Comfort using AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude) to support development and problem-solving
• Understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Exposure to REST APIs and backend testing
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes

• Travel and flexible working hours may be required occasionally

Expected Hours of Work

The work schedule for this position will be primarily Monday – Friday at our Berwyn, PA office, during typical business hours; however, based on the operational needs of this rapidly growing company, some work outside of typical business hours may be required.
