Job Title: RN-ICU

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19140

Duration: 12 weeks (with possible extension)

Shift Timing: Night 7 pm to 7:30 am | 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Pay Rates:

· W2 (Local): $61/hr | $2196/weekly gross

· W2 (Traveler/Stipend): $70/hr | $2520/weekly gross

· Taxable: $20/hr | $720/week

· Non-taxable stipend: $50/hr | $1800/week

· 1099 (Local): $66/hr | $2376/weekly gross

· 1099 (Traveler): $72/hr | $2592/weekly gross

Requirements:

· Active Pennsylvania RN License

· BLS & ACLS (AHA) required

· Flexibility to float across units based on hospital needs is required

· Position involves care for ICU-level patients in a PACU setting

· Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant clinical specialty (ICU, PACU, ED, or Stepdown) preferred

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to ICU boarder patients housed within the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The primary patient population includes trauma overflow cases; however, prior trauma experience is not required. The RN may be required to float to the Emergency Department (ED) for ICU holds or to other ICU/Stepdown units based on patient census and operational needs.

Responsibilities

· Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician.

· Utilize the nursing process to deliver individualized, evidence-based patient care.

· Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize outcomes.

· Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.

· Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

· Delegate and supervise nursing support staff in alignment with professional standards and organizational policies.

· Adhere to all administrative, departmental, and clinical protocols.
