Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Diagnostic Technician to join a dynamic, growing automotive team in York — a workshop built on getting the diagnosis right, first time, every time.
You'll play a central role in maintaining that reputation, working across a varied range of vehicles and using dealer-level diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues quickly and accurately.
What You'll Be Doing
Diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues efficiently
Using dealer diagnostic tools to deliver accurate assessments
Carrying out routine maintenance and inspections
Working closely with the wider team to keep service quality consistently high
Keeping your workspace clean, organised and safe
Communicating clearly with customers and delivering genuinely excellent service
Staying sharp on industry trends and evolving vehicle technology
Supporting and mentoring newer technicians coming up through the team
What You'll Need
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role
Strong mechanical knowledge and confidence in reading schematics
Skilled with both hand and power tools
Experience with equipment repair and maintenance
