Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels following project specifications and electrical schematics.
• Install electrical components such as relays, switches, circuit breakers, PLCs, HMIs, and other devices into control panels.
• Inspect wiring and components for accuracy and compliance with industry standards, ensuring proper connections and safety codes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues during the assembly stages of the control panels.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure control panels meet design specifications and project requirements.
• Guide and support less experienced technicians by sharing knowledge and reinforcing best practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of wiring configurations, components used, and modifications made during assembly.
• Follow all electrical safety standards and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Keep workstations, tools, and equipment organized, clean, and in good condition.

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or training in electrical systems or control panel wiring preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in control panel assembly, wiring, or related field.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components, wiring techniques, and safety protocols.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing instruments.
• Experience installing and wiring PLCs and HMIs.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and accuracy when assembling and wiring control panels.
• Leadership & Teamwork: Able to work effectively in a team setting and provide guidance to junior team members while maintaining communication with supervisors.
