Job Title: Part-Time Sales Associate - Laurel's Loft Thrift Store

Location: Laurel's Loft Lansdale, Pa

Schedule: Part-time Every Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday 9:30-5:30 and Every other Saturday 9:30-4:30

Reports To: Laurel's Loft Manager

About Us: Laurel's Loft is a nonprofit thrift boutique supporting Laurel House, a comprehensive domestic violence agency. Proceeds from the shop directly benefit individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. Position Summary: We're seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team at Laurel's Loft. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, supporting store operations, and promoting the mission of Laurel House.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner
• Share information about the mission of Laurel House with customers
• Operate cash register and reconcile cash drawer at shift end (as needed)
• Accept and process donations; provide donation receipts
• Sort, tag, steam, and restock merchandise
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and donation area
• Supervise shop volunteers in the absence of the Store Manager
• Research value of donated items using internet tools
• Work independently and multitask effectively

Qualifications:

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred but not needed
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn about clothing and accessory brands
• Basic internet and computer skills
• Ability to work every other Saturday is required
• Must be reliable, punctual, and mission-driven
