Speech Language Pathologist - UPMC Washington, Part Time Temporary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled **Speech-Language Pathologist** to join our dynamic team at UPMC Washington. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists to provide comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing therapy to patients across a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. **This is a part time temporary position for about 3-4 months only.**

Responsibilities:

• Maintains accurate progress notes and professional records on all patients seen for speech pathology services.

• Provides appropriate speech pathology treatments for all clients for whom such services are beneficial.

• Prepares diagnostic and evaluative reports with recommendations for each person seen for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology services.

• Provides appropriate diagnostic evaluative services for all clients referred for Speech-Language Pathology services.

• Coordinates the evaluation, scheduling and treatment programs of clients referred for Speech-Language Therapy.

• Obtains complete and pertinent historical information on all clients referred for Speech-Language Pathology services.

  Schedule: 20 – 32 hours per week with a start time of 8:30 Monday through Friday. One to two Saturdays per month with the hours of 8AAM – 12PM.
