Urologist

WellSpan Health is seeking urologists to join the well-respected team in Chambersburg, PA. This collegial group is currently comprised of 5 physicians and 2 APPs. Chambersburg offers excellent schools, multiple recreational, cultural & historic activities, and proximity to the Baltimore/DC metro area. A favorable tax climate, excellent healthcare & easy access to all major metropolitan areas of the Northeast, have made Central PA a top retirement destination.

Position Highlights:

• Call is currently 1:4.
• Typical schedule is 3-4 clinic days & 1-2 days in the OR.
• Surgeries performed at Chambersburg Hospital (CH) & ASC.
• The group s Uro Hospitalist rounds & does inpatient consults.
• APPs have their own panel of patients & assist with work ups.
• Excellent Practice Manager & dedicated/long-term staff.
• Collegial collaboration w/ General Surgery, OB/GYN, Oncology & Uro/Gyn.
• CH is a busy 274-bed community hospital w/ nine ORs & two XI Da Vinci Robots
• 7,300+ surgeries performed in FY23.
• The ED sees 53,000+ patients per year.

Qualifications:

• Board eligible/certified
• Robotic surgery experience is preferred but not required.
• New grads encouraged to apply.
