Hardscape Crew Member

As a Hardscape Crew Member, you will work alongside experienced crew leaders and team members to install patios, walkways, retaining walls, drainage systems, outdoor steps, and other landscape construction features. Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor steps, drainage systems, edging, grading, and other landscape construction features
• Support excavation, base preparation, grading, and compaction tasks
• Carry, stage, and organize materials throughout each project
• Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow installation instructions provided by the Crew Leader
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites
• Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
• Help protect customer property during construction
• Perform daily cleanup and organization at jobsites and the shop
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Report unsafe conditions, damages, or equipment issues promptly
• Work respectfully and professionally with crew members and management
• Take direction from the Crew Leader and Production Manager
• Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Support company culture focused on quality, growth, safety, education, integrity, and teamwork
• Participate in winter snow operations as needed

Qualifications

• Landscape construction or hardscape experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Willingness to learn new skills and installation techniques
• Valid driver’s license required
• Experience or willingness to learn to operate plate compactors, cut-off saws, concrete saws, skid steers, mini excavators, hand tools, layout tools, dump trailers, and trucks

Schedule Expectations

• Monday–Friday with seasonal overtime as needed
• Occasional Saturdays during peak season
• Winter snow operations required
