Hardscape Crew Member

As a Hardscape Crew Member, you will work alongside experienced crew leaders and team members to install patios, walkways, retaining walls, drainage systems, outdoor steps, and other landscape construction features. Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor steps, drainage systems, edging, grading, and other landscape construction features
- Support excavation, base preparation, grading, and compaction tasks
- Carry, stage, and organize materials throughout each project
- Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow installation instructions provided by the Crew Leader
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
- Help protect customer property during construction
- Perform daily cleanup and organization at jobsites and the shop
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Report unsafe conditions, damages, or equipment issues promptly
- Work respectfully and professionally with crew members and management
- Take direction from the Crew Leader and Production Manager
- Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Support company culture focused on quality, growth, safety, education, integrity, and teamwork
- Participate in winter snow operations as needed
Qualifications
- Landscape construction or hardscape experience preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Willingness to learn new skills and installation techniques
- Valid driver’s license required
- Experience or willingness to learn to operate plate compactors, cut-off saws, concrete saws, skid steers, mini excavators, hand tools, layout tools, dump trailers, and trucks
Schedule Expectations
- Monday–Friday with seasonal overtime as needed
- Occasional Saturdays during peak season
- Winter snow operations required
