Could you be the full-time Electrical Test Engineer (Traction Validation) in West Mifflin, PA, US we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll contribute significantly to the safety and efficiency of railway systems by developing state-of-the-art test equipment and software. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, quality assurance, production), create and review diagnostic software, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

• Create Test Package Sets for electronic modules, both High Power and Low Voltage,

• Test Package Set development includes Software Requirement Specification (SRS), Test Fixture, and Test Software development using National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand,

• Create/review component level diagnostic software,

• Develop Test Software Documentation to IEEE-1012 standard,

• Install equipment, perform qualification testing with the customer, and provide customer training,

• Collaborating with purchasing, quality, and industrialization functions to ensure successful delivery of equipment to customers,

• Opportunity to travel to customer sites located in the US and Internationally.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field,

• Experience or understanding of Test Equipment design or related work,

• Experience with high power Test Equipment is a plus,

• Familiarity with cable modeling software, simulation software, and product lifecycle management tools,

• Knowledge of high power and high voltage testing as well as PCB level testing,

• Ability to manage project tasks and adhere to schedules,

• Willingness to travel to support project deployment,

• Team player mindset.
