About the Position
- Start Date: 06/22/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day 4x10s (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare OR for cardiac/open-heart surgeries
- Maintain sterile surgical environment
- Scrub and assist during CVOR procedures
- Handle surgical instruments and supplies
- Monitor patient condition during surgery
- Document care using EPIC
- Assist with post-operative patient transfer
- Take on-call shifts with 30-minute response time
- Collaborate with surgeons and OR team
- Float to other units as needed
Requirements
Key Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 2 years CVOR experience
- Open heart experience required
- Scrub experience required
- Travel experience preferred
- EPIC charting experience required
Certifications
- BLS required
- Must be AHA or ARC certified
License & Compliance
- No license hits accepted
- COVID vaccine required
- Medical/religious exemptions allowed
- Flu vaccine required
