FDRsafety is seeking a Site Safety Representative to oversee a construction project in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This position is anticipated to start immediately and will last approximately 3 months on a Monday-Saturday nightshift schedule (3:30pm-12am) for 40-50 hours/week. This individual will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting, and advising management of their findings daily for a single site location.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or related field OR BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or CSP) or similar certification preferred.
• Candidates must have an OSHA 30 Hour in Construction Certification.
• Candidates must have a First-Aid/CPR/AED certificate.
• Candidates should have 5+ years of construction safety experience as a lead with the proven ability to identify workable solutions to eliminate hazards.
• Strong background in constructions procedures and processes.
• Experience with cranes, rigging, confined space, and forklift safety is preferred.
