SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are seeking General Laborers for our growing team. Successful candidates should have a willingness to learn, have a positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Follows and understands project instructions and plans from construction managers or supervisors
• Effectively uses construction tools and equipment to complete daily tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Cleans and clears debris
• Safely operates a variety of tools including rollers, saws, whackers, shoveling, checking grades, laying pipe and raking stone
• Ensures construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
• Follows all safety regulations when operating equipment and wears appropriate PPE on site (proper headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothes)
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Prior construction experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to work in a crew-based and fast-paced environment
• Punctuality and dependabilityare required
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods and sometimes in unfavorable weather conditions
• Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling of materials
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
