The general labor worker will be responsible for lifting material, packing customer orders, handling construction material, and being able to follow specific instructions when assembling wall panels and roof trusts. Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Truss & Panel Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working on the Wall Panel Assembly Line and Roof Truss Assembly Line, performing general labor tasks, and ensuring high-quality production standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Work off of blueprints and drawings to set up large assembly tables for production.
• Lay out lumber products such as 2X4's, 2X6's, and 2X8's in specified areas to assemble wall panels and roof trusses.
• Place steel connectors or gussets on all seams of the trusses to ensure joints are secured properly.
• Use a framing hammer to attach plates to the framed panels.
• Send assembled products to the Yard Department.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Read and interpret tape measurements.
• Handle a variety of general production tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Essential Skills

• Experience with general labor work and construction.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in using a framing hammer.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Minimum of 6 months of construction experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
