Part-Time Mental Health Counselor (W-2, In-Person, 20-25 hrs/wk)

Positive Intentions, LLC is an award-winning outpatient practice providing ethical, evidence-based care for adults, teens, couples, and families. We’re expanding our in-person team with a part-time counselor (20–25 hours/week).

What you’ll do

• Provide individual/couples/family counseling using client-centered, CBT, and other evidence-based approaches
• Maintain audit-ready documentation: treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries (timely, measurable, payer-compliant)
• Collaborate with a supportive clinical team; participate in case consultation/supervision
• Coordinate care with community providers when appropriate
• Use our EHR ( SimplePractice ) and follow HIPAA/ethical standards

Schedule

• In-person in Stroudsburg, PA
• 20–25 hours/week with consistent availability
• Evenings and Weekends preferred (peak demand)

Qualifications

• Active PA license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) required; PA pre-licensed master’s-level clinicians may be considered under supervision
• Strong skills in treatment planning, measurable objectives, and payer-compliant notes
• Comfort working with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions, and all populations.
• Professional, ethical, and team-oriented; reliable attendance
