Description:
CRH, through its Leviat division, is seeking a dedicated Receiving Clerk to manage and coordinate shipping and receiving operations at its Hazleton, PA location. Leviat is a global leader in lifting, insulating, and connecting technology for the construction industry, employing nearly 3,000 people across 60 locations worldwide. This role ensures smooth handling of materials, accurate documentation, and support for related departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and properly locate all incoming materials from trucks and other sources into designated ROI locations.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks.
• Check in goods and supplies accurately at the time of receipt.
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure packaging meets specifications.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by following pick ticket rules and regulations.
• Handle material transfers efficiently.
• Deliver required paperwork to the inventory office promptly.
• Verify counts, weights, or measures of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Print and assess Dispatch Reports for any changes that require expediting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, either temporarily or permanently, based on operational needs.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate effectively through speaking and hearing.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capability to lift/move up to 65 lbs; team lifting or equipment use for heavier items.
• Physical ability to bend, crouch, climb, push, pull, stoop, and reach.
• Able to work in dusty, noisy, hot, or cold environments.
