Assistant Teacher Floater (Infant–6 years)
Full-Time • Monday–Friday 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM • $17–$18/hour • Daycare Experience Required

We’re hiring a flexible Assistant Teacher Floater to support classrooms from infants through kindergarten. Must have at least 1 year of daycare/early childhood experience and be comfortable assisting with diapering and toileting. Full-time benefits include PTO, health insurance, 401(k) match, and 50% tuition discount for children enrolled.

Position Overview

We are seeking a caring and adaptable Assistant Teacher Floater to join our team. In this role, you will work across all classrooms (infant through kindergarten) to support Lead Teachers and provide consistent care and guidance for our students. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and helping children at every stage of development.

Responsibilities

• Support classrooms across all age groups as needed (infant–6 years old)
• Assist Lead Teachers with lessons, crafts, and daily activities
• Provide nurturing care, including diapering infants/toddlers and assisting with toileting for older children
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Supervise and actively engage students in learning and play
• Build positive relationships with staff, students, and families

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CDA or early childhood coursework a plus
• At least 1 year of daycare or early childhood classroom experience required
• Flexible, reliable, and comfortable working with all ages (infants–6 years)
• Childcare clearances, FBI background check, physical, and TB test (or willingness to obtain)
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Montessori experience not required — on-the-job Montessori training provided

Compensation & Benefits

• $17–$18/hour (includes paid breaks)
