GHC IS LOOKING FOR REFERRAL CAREGIVERS FOR ALL OUR BLAIR COUNTY AREA.

We are receiving inquires from clients in the Altoona, Duncansville and Martinsburg areas. Some clients need 4 to 12 hours and other clients need more. Once the client commits to GHC, we will call you to offer the position to help you meet your caring heart's career desire and budget needs. Most clients would like to know if someone is ready to help them within 24 hours or less due to circumstances! We will need you to be ready to make the decision within a set time. All opportunities can ranging from 4 to 40 hours per week. We do "stacking" if at all possible to assist you in reaching your weekly hour goal. We also have live-in positions in the Cumberland County area as well as in our other branch locations!

All positions require you to have a personal vehicle and car insurance. Duties include personal care, light housekeeping, taking clients to appointments, running errands, companionship, and other duties as to meet the client needs. We are looking for caregivers who have creative minds to help our clients meet/improve their mental and physical capabilities. Hours generally range from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Some might need overnight help as well. All applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience with eldercare. Our Requirements:

• Must live in the USA and are authorized to work in the USA
• Have a High School diploma or GED
• Have a clean Criminal Background Check
• 2 years’ experience as a caregiver in home or facility
• Have your own transportation and valid car insurance.
