Hydrostatic Testing Technician - Temporary

This is a temporary, full-time role working at our facility in Hatfield, PA, Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs hydrostatic pressure testing inspections and material handling (cutting, trimming, marking) of materials as assigned by the Ultrasonic & Hydro Testing Supervisor.
- Follows all applicable and required specifications and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with test requirements.
- Ensures that the test equipment and instruments are functioning properly and in calibration prior to performing any tests.
- Informs Ultrasonic & Hydro Testing Supervisor and/or Coordinator whenever any equipment is found to be out of calibration or in need of repair.
- Unpacks materials received for testing and repackages the materials for shipping after testing has been completed.
- Ensures accurate traceability throughout entire testing and marking processes.
- Communicates job details to fellow hydro technicians and department Supervisor as needed.
- Meets testing schedule as direct by department Supervisor and communicates if issues arise that may jeopardize testing deadlines.
- Assists with maintaining test equipment, which includes cleaning of equipment and performing preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Maintains assigned work area(s) in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times.
- Understands and complies with LTI’s QA Program at all times.
- Seeks clarification when specifications or directions are unclear.
- Always complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Always follows all safety rules and regulations and utilizes personal protective equipment, as required.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the department Manager or Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Forklift Operator experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents required.
- Ability to identify damaged or missing materials from orders.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to process work with a high level of accuracy with minimal supervision.
- Must meet citizenship eligibility required by accrediting bodies.
This position requires use of information or access to processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export laws including but not limited to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
