Process Coordinator - Surface Protection
Company Overview:
Tredegar is an industrial manufacturer with two primary businesses: custom aluminum extrusions for the North American building & construction, automotive and specialty end-use markets and surface protection films for high technology applications in the global electronics industry. With approximately 1,500 employees, Tredegar operates manufacturing facilities in North America and Asia.
- Provides technical expertise training, and leadership for the activities of the Surface Protection/Cast department.
- Oversees and coordinates training of Surface Protection/Cast operators in equipment operations, safety, policies, and procedures.
- Support Production in all aspects of the job including troubleshooting.
- Conduct daily audits/walks of production lines for the purpose of auditing the department for process/quality compliance. Work with department employees to address any non-compliance issues.
- Work closely with the Process Engineer to address immediate needs, projects, data collection, trials and other tasks required.
- Provide supervision for department as needed in conjunction with, or in the absence of, the Production Shift Supervisor.
- Review current schedule and all necessary production needs.
- Reviews and updates production related policies and procedures.
- Interface and coordinate with other department Process Coordinators to ensure operational consistency across shifts.
- Will perform other duties as required to promote overall plant effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Active team member on the Tredegar First Class Continuous Skills Development Team.
Essential: High School Diploma and 4 years Surface Protection or similar Technical Experience/Background.
Desirable: College degree and 4 years Surface Protection Technician experience and supervisory experience.
An equivalent combination of education, experience and training will be considered.
