As our growing Water Business Unit is seeking for Technical Director of Wastewater Treatment and Senior Process Engineer who will have a significant opportunities to bring extensive technical knowledge and experience into expanding services across Canada and USA. Recognition by the clients and industry combining with the ability to lead and develop projects and pursuits are the key for success for this role. The Technical Director of Wastewater will be supported with a team of leads across disciplines and geographical areas. This is a key management position with an overall responsibility for growth and development of wastewater business. This position is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
Key attributes of the position include:
- Support growing wastewater business through winning and executing engineering services
- Leadership and proactive collaboration with key Water Business Unit leaders, marketing teams and operations managers in offices across the company in the development, implementation and achievement of strategic and business development goals.
- Leadership in the pursuit of specific wastewater project opportunities including participating in Go/No Go decisions, development of pursuit strategies and proposals, and hiring/mentoring of staff for key projects.
- Project participation through active involvement in wastewater project work including consulting assignments, management and peer review, as appropriate.
You bring to the role:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering from an accredited university;
- Over 15 years' experience specializing in wastewater treatment process;
- Registered as Professional Engineer or eligible to obtain is required;
- Proven ability of leading business development activities, pursuing new clients/projects, and managing project deliveries
- Proven leader with an interest in developing and mentoring team members and demonstrated ability to successfully work in diverse teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Participation in water community and association activities including Water Environment Federation and American Water Works Association.
