Landscape Enhancement Supervisor

As a Landscape Enhancement Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading teams to create and maintain beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces for commercial clients. This position offers the opportunity to oversee a variety of landscape projects, work closely with clients, and contribute to the continued growth and reputation of a respected, community-focused company.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily landscape enhancement activities, including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and mulching to ensure vibrant and healthy landscapes.
  • Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems to promote efficient watering practices.
  • Lead landscaping projects from planning through execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage team schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess landscape health, identify issues such as pests or disease, and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert recommendations on plant selection, landscape design, and maintenance plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies across all project sites.

Qualifications

  • Experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or related fields; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, horticulture practices, tree care, irrigation systems, and gardening principles.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Hands-on experience with construction activities related to landscape enhancement projects; skid steer and mini-excavator experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials, operating landscaping equipment, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
