ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setup, operate and troubleshoot press brake equipment
- Verify material required for jobs; correct type and thickness (calipers and mics required)
- Ability to review and understand blue prints, work orders, tooling and set-up instructions or other written specifications. Meet expected work quotas and work traveler times
- Performs quality control inspections on finished product; per ISO certification standards, performs in-process quality inspections
- Work to standard fabrication tolerances (+/- .020”) daily
- Work to precision tolerances as required (+/- .005”) on occasion
- Secondary de-burring of parts as required per special jobs
- Box or palletize completed parts. Move parts and travelers to the next operation as required
- Responsible for machine daily maintenance checks
- Be responsible to maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Daily safety conscious work effort. Notify management of any work-related injuries, safety concerns and(or) near miss incident(s)
- Participate in all continuous improvement programs by offering suggestions and exhibiting initiative in areas within direct control
- Must have a willingness and flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, schedule and deadlines and perform other essential duties as assigned in support of operational success
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
· Notifies management of any product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions
· Participate in all continuous improvement programs by offering suggestions and initiatives in areas within direct control
· Comply with state and federal law safety regulations in addition to Accrotool health, safety and security procedures.
· Adhere to company policies and state and federal laws and regulations relating to employment, including promoting a workplace free of discrimination and harassment
COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS
· Ability to successfully pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screen.
· Independent thinking and sound judgment, accompanied by proven problem solving/analysis skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with other employees and all levels of management
· Excellent time management with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings with good mechanical aptitude

· Basic computer navigation and data entry skills are preferred
· Ability to diagnose problems and makes necessary adjustments with intent to reduce scrap from processes
· Mastery over mathematical skills that include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum High School diploma or GED required with at least 2-years proven experience, internal job candidates may be considered with less direct experience.

The successful candidate will be expected to endure constant standing, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling in repetitive motion job tasks requiring continuous eye/hand/foot coordination. Environmental conditions consist of frequent exposure to noise. Up to 75 lb. maximum lifting and carrying on a constant basis. Up to 1000 lb. maximum pushing and pulling (pallet jacks) on a constant basis. Ability to work in a manufacturing shop environment (including hot, cold and/or noisy areas). Must be able to wear required personal protection equipment, such as earplugs, safety glasses, and safety shoes.
