HVAC Heat Pump Field Installation Lead

Location: Albany, NY

You start your day reviewing the install plan, coffee in hand, and a crew ready to go. A client needs a high‑quality heat pump system installed, and you’re the person who ensures every wire, line set, and mounting point meets the standard. You coordinate with project managers, align your technicians, and keep the schedule on track. When something unexpected pops up, you diagnose it fast and guide the team to a clean, safe solution. By day’s end, the work is on time, within budget, and documented.

What you’ll lead

• Complete oversight of installation projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Daily coordination with your team to hit milestones and finish on schedule.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting to resolve technical and on‑site challenges.
• Coaching and developing junior technicians in proper installation techniques.
• Accurate, timely documentation of project details and progress.

Core responsibilities

• Deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining quality.
• Partner with project managers and clients to define scope and requirements.
• Supervise work quality and provide training to junior team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
• Maintain precise records from start to finish.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience installing and maintaining systems and equipment.
• Leadership presence with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
• Detail‑oriented mindset and strong problem‑solving ability.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
