OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Erie, PA by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Serve nationwide dry van lanes from Erie, PA with a carrier focused on driver success. HMD hires experienced OTR solo CDL-A drivers, providing solid mileage starting at 65 CPM, dependable national freight, and well-equipped tractors.

Primary duties:

• Run OTR dry van routes, maintain logs and meet scheduled deliveries across regions.
• Complete thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, secure cargo, and report mechanical issues to in-house maintenance.
• Comply with DOT rules and company safety procedures during long-haul operations.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and a minimum 12 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Professional demeanor and a safe driving record; ability to be home about every two weeks.
