Small Equipment Mechanic

GSL is hiring a Small Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of construction and landscape equipment. We are looking for someone dependable, mechanically sharp, and able to diagnose and fix problems without constant supervision.
If downtime bothers you and you take pride in keeping equipment production-ready, you’ll fit here.

- Skid steers
- Mini excavators
- Compact track loaders
- Small diesel and gas engines
- Plate compactors, generators, pumps
- Hydraulic and electrical systems
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Keep accurate service and maintenance logs
- Respond quickly to minimize equipment downtime
- Maintain a clean and organized shop
Requirements
- 2+ years mechanical experience (small equipment, diesel, or heavy equipment)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Reliable and self-motivated
