Our clients rely on us to manage their entire infrastructure, from switches and firewalls to PCs and servers. Many of our clients are migrating their workload to the cloud. By joining our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients' technology meets the needs of their business. Please note that this is not a software engineering position. However, we highly value candidates with experience in cloud infrastructure and PowerShell.

 

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

 

Salary: $85,000 - $105,000/ yr. w2

 

Responsibilities:

  • Configure, monitor, and maintain client networks to ensure secure and reliable access.
  • Set up, install, configure, and support networked equipment to maximize efficiency and security.
  • Create and implement network security measures and conduct regular performance tests.
  • Serve as level 3 engineer for escalated network support issues.
  • Mentor level 1 and level 2 engineers.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation approximately 2 to 3 times per year.
  • Visit client sites within a 50-mile radius as dispatched, using a company vehicle when applicable.
  • Engage with clients in a pre-sales engineering capacity with professional communication.
Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on technical experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting production environments post-graduation.
  • High-level infrastructure engineering experience supporting servers and related systems.
  • Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience, including Microsoft Azure and Azure-based servers.
  • Broad networking experience across servers, routers, hubs, switches, and firewalls.
  • Firewall expertise with multi-vendor environments; WatchGuard preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server, Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
  • Virtualization experience with VMware ESXi/vCenter and Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Hardware experience with HP ProLiant servers, HP/Aruba switches, Barracuda appliances, and HP/Dell endpoints.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining high-availability network infrastructures.
  • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure virtual networks.
  • Experience with PowerShell.
  • QuickBooks (preferred).
  • Citrix virtualization (preferred).
  • Migrating file shares to SharePoint (preferred).
  • Stable work tenure without frequent short-term job changes.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting 25 to 50 pounds and performing onsite tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and ability to pass background checks.

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Current certifications from vendors such as Microsoft, WatchGuard, Datto, Cisco, Symantec, VMware, or HP/Aruba, with ability to maintain and earn new certifications.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
