As a Support Partner you will be providing direct support in partnership with people with disabilities, on a one-to-one basis, in their own homes and communities. Services include direct support in the form of community involvement and/or accommodation with all activities of daily living including personal care, communication, transportation and inclusive social and recreational activities.

We are looking to partner with people who are creative, energetic and like to have fun. We are looking for people who want to ensure that ALL people's rights are secured, that people can live a self-determined life and who believe in equity!

We are hiring a PART-TIME weekend position for the following shifts:

Saturday and Sunday: 3PM - 11PM

The person requires total support with personal care (bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, and transferring using a Hoyer lift). Staff need to be comfortable supporting an individual using a motorized wheelchair. Experience with technology skills with devices such as iPads, laptops, and Amazon Alexa is preferred. Staff will transport the individual using his wheelchair-accessible van to his appointments and community outings.

Training on all aspects of medical and ambulatory care will be provided!

This person loves sports (including live sporting events!), technology, funny music, hanging out in the community. He currently works at a school as well - those who join his team will be an important part of supporting him live an independent and meaningful life.

• A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year experience supporting people to live in the community.
• 18 years of age or older
• Be or willing to be Covid-19 Vaccinated prior to employment
• must have valid driver's license with clean driving record, along with a personal vehicle that is fully insured and registered to use for work purposes
• Candidates must be patient, creative, have effective communication skills, and demonstrate professionalism.
