Residential Track Hoe Operator

Dustin Nagy Excavating LLC is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for residential site development projects.

We are seeking a skilled operator with hands-on experience in residential construction that includes, foundation excavation, basement digs, utility trenches and final grading around homes.

This position requires precision, awareness of tight jobsite conditions, and the ability to work efficiently. This position is for operators who are experienced working on residential building sites and understand the precision required. We are not looking for entry-level operators.

Job Responsibilities

· Excavate for:

o Residential foundations and basements

o Utility trenches (water, sewer, storm)

o Stormwater systems

· Work safety around existing homes, utilities, and property lines

· Read and interpret residential plot plans and elevations

· Set proper depth and maintain grade accuracy

· Load trucks and mange spoils efficiently

· Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks

· Follow OSHA excavation and trench safety standards

· Communicate effectively with builders, foreman, and crew

· Ability to work independently

Qualifications / Requirements

· Minimum 2 years residential sitework experience is required

· Ability to read and understand plot plans and grading plans

· Experience digging around foundations and utilities

· Strong attention to detail and precision

· Valid driver's license required

· Must be at least 18 years of age

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

· Must be able to pass a background check, consistent with applicable law

· Ability to work overtime when needed
