Reports to: Chair of the Board of Directors
Key Responsibilities:
Organizational Mission and Leadership
- Responsible for the implementation and execution of policies, procedures, and actions of the Board
- Provide values-based leadership to fulfill the mission through programs and community collaboration
- Develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans
- Establish relationships with public, private, faith based, philanthropic, and nonprofit stakeholders to enhance the organization's mission
- Communicates a compelling and inspired vision; works closely with team members to ensure the implementation of Bridge of Hope BuxMont’s strategic plan and mission
Operations and Administration
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and professional development
- Manage budget and coordinate with accounting and bookkeeping services
- Evaluate program needs and oversee contracted professional services (e.g., IT, fundraising software, and other platforms), reassessing periodically based on changing program needs and environment
- Build partnerships with community organizations
- Acts as liaison between Board of Directors and staff members.
- Engage with Bridge of Hope National by providing necessary data and information, attending the annual conference and participating in other learning opportunities
- Oversee implementation of the Bridge of Hope program to include: family screening, volunteer recruitment and case management
- Recruiting, developing, and maintaining relationships with groups of Neighboring Volunteers through training and supportive services
Development and Fundraising
- Lead fundraising efforts and donor relationship cultivation. Encourages financial support of Bridge of Hope BuxMont through contacts with Christian faith communities, businesses, community organizations, and individuals.
- Oversee development strategies for organizational sustainability
- Oversee the planning of fundraising events with attendance required.
Public Relations
- Present Bridge of Hope's program to Christian faith communities and community organizations
- Serve as an ambassador for Bridge of Hope's more extensive network
- Oversee marketing efforts and maintain inter-agency communication
- Attends relevant conferences, workshops, and seminars for additional training and/or to educate the community about Bridge of Hope BuxMont.
Qualifications:
● An active member of a local Christian community with a strong personal faith
● Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
● Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience in nonprofit leadership, preferably in organizations serving vulnerable populations
● Demonstrated success in fundraising and donor relationship-building
● An understanding of and a commitment to the mission of Bridge of Hope BuxMont - To engage our community in ending family homelessness through neighboring relationships that demonstrate Christ's love.
● Skills and ability to work collaboratively with Christian faith communities, funders and partner organizations.
● Strong administrative and organizational skills.
● Strong financial management and budgeting skills
● Excellent presentation and communication skills to include public speaking
● Work with the Board of Directors and staff to develop and implement the organizations strategic plan to include identifying opportunities for growth and expansion
● Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and access to a vehicle

Position Details:
● Full-time, 30–40 hours per week (flexible schedule; salaried)
● Flexible schedule with some evening and weekend hours required
● Office located in Souderton, PA; serving Montgomery and northern/central Bucks counties
Compensation and Benefits:
● Salary: $52-70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and work schedule

Position Summary:
The Executive Director oversees the organization's administration, program, fundraising, and strategic plan. This includes directing or delegating the development, implementation, and evaluation of program service delivery, financial management, fundraising, resource development, strategic planning, workforce empowerment, and marketing, including public relations and networking. Other key duties include community outreach and church relations.
