We re Hiring: WiFi Testing Engineers We are looking for 3 Senior WiFi Testing Engineers to join our client on a contract role in Pennsylvania. Experience: 10+ Years
Skills:- Strong expertise in WiFi standards IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax.
- Hands-on with test tools (Wireshark, iperf, RF analyzers, traffic generators).
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, security (WPA2/WPA3).
- Scripting & automation skills (Python, Shell, Perl, or similar).
- Troubleshooting at driver/firmware/hardware levels.
- Define and execute test plans for WiFi gateways, extenders, and mesh systems.
- Perform functional, performance, regression, interoperability, and security testing.
- Work with RF chambers, attenuation, interference, and roaming scenarios.
- Develop/maintain automated test suites.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead WiFi testing initiatives.

Key Skills:- Broadband technologies: DOCSIS, GPON, Fiber.

- Strong QA skills: test case design, execution, bug tracking.

- Validate streaming quality (startup, buffering, resolution, sync, error handling).
- Test network behavior under load/failure conditions.
- Collaborate with engineering to catch defects early.
- Monitor and report video performance metrics.

- LTE-5G integration, mobility, handovers, roaming.
- Test tools: network simulators, protocol analyzers, RF test chambers.
- Scripting & automation for test cases.
- Strong debugging across firmware, hardware, and RAN/core systems.
- Define test strategies for 5G performance, mobility, interoperability.
- Perform RF / throughput / latency / stress / reliability tests.
- Ensure compliance with 3GPP standards.
- Collaborate with RAN, baseband & core engineering teams.
- Drive resolution of critical defects with dev teams.
