Overview

JAKE Premier LLC is a residential construction management firm, based out of West Chester, PA, serving the West Chester and Mainline areas. We specialize in high-quality new construction custom homes, full-scale renovations, and additions. We are looking for an experienced Residential Construction Production Manager to join our leadership team!

Responsibilities for Residential Construction Production Manager:

Pre-Construction Setup & Project Readiness:

• Manage and oversee all pre-construction set-ups to ensure jobs are construction-ready; including ensuring the approvals of all permits and township required documentation, all drawings are finalized and accurate, all selections, scopes and pricing are finalized.
• Lead internal pre-construction and job handoff meetings.

Project Coordination & Information Flow:

• Control the flow of information from architects, engineers, estimating, and selections to field Project Managers.
• Manage and oversee field team including project managers, supervisors, and carpenters.
• Track RFIs, revisions, and design changes to prevent conflicts such as schedule and cost issues.

Purchase Orders & Cost Control:

• Manage and oversee creation, approval, and release of purchase orders, ensuring they accurately reflect scope, selections, pricing and timelines.
• Oversee and coordinate with estimating and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Track purchase order status and ensure alignment with production schedule.
• Support cost control through clear scopes and timely procurement.

Management of Material Flow & Scheduling:

• Oversee the flow of materials from order to delivery.
• Work with the procurement department to ensure materials are delivered on time, in correct quantities, and per specifications.
• Work with Project Managers to prevent material shortages, delays, or jobsite congestion.

Production Oversight:

• Oversee the progression of all active projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Monitor project milestones, readiness for upcoming phases, and overall job flow.
• Support Project Managers by removing bottlenecks and resolving coordination issues.
• Work closely with leadership to forecast workload and production capacity.

Meetings & Communication:

• Organize and lead weekly production and scheduling meetings.
• Facilitate communication between office departments and field teams and serve as a point of accountability for production-related issues.

Systems, Process & Quality Control:

• Develop, refine, and enforce production processes, checklists, and standards.
• Standardize job setup, documentation, and handoff procedures.
• Help implement and maintain construction management software.

Qualifications for Residential Construction Production Manager:

Basic Qualifications:

• Management experience and refined leadership skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and other technical materials.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Functions effectively as part of a team.
• Broad, thorough understanding of residential construction industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10-15+ years of custom home building and residential remodeling required.
• Advanced in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Knowledge of Buildertrend software preferred.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday.

License/Certification:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Driver's License (Required).
